Rep. Cleaver’s Statement on the Passing of Donald J. Hall Sr.
(Kansas City, MO) – Today, U.S. Representative Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-MO) released the following statement on the passing of former Hallmark CEO, Kansas City civic leader, Donald J. Hall Sr.
“Like no other person I have ever known, Don Hall lived a life of deserved acclaim and great reputation. He chose to award and honor others. In fact, I am a witness that he provided support and praise to those of us who could do him absolutely no good. He rose to civic greatness by committing to municipal inclusion, philanthropy, and by uplifting others.
“When the history of our region is written, Don Hall’s fingerprints will be on every chapter. May his memory be a blessing.”
Emanuel Cleaver, II is the U.S. Representative for Missouri's Fifth Congressional District, which includes Kansas City, Independence, Lee's Summit, Raytown, Grandview, Sugar Creek, Greenwood, Blue Springs, North Kansas City, Gladstone, and Claycomo.
