Rep. Cleaver Applauds Appointment of Meg McCollister as EPA’s Regional Administrator for Region 7

(Kansas City, MO) – Today, U.S. Representative Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-MO) applauded the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) announcement that Meg McCollister will be appointed EPA Regional Administrator for Region 7, which is tasked with protecting the environment and human health in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and nine tribal nations. A graduate of the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law, Ms. McCollister previously served as a congressional intern in Representative Emanuel Cleaver's Washington, D.C and Kansas City offices in 2007 and 2008.

"It was my honor to nominate Meg McCollister for the Regional Administrator position serving Missouri and other Region 7 states and tribal nations," said Congressman Cleaver.
