(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, II is proud to announce the approval of $7 million in funding for the U.S. World War I Centennial Commission (WWICC). The funding is included in the Fiscal Year 2018 omnibus funding bill, passed by the U.S. House of Representatives today. Along with the funding, the bill allows other federal agencies to contribute funding or personnel to support the activities of the Commission.

My latest issue of concern is preventing extremist groups from using cryptocurrency to fund campaigns of hate and violence. Cryptocurrency is basically digital money used to verify the transfer of funds. It operates as an independently run bank online.

Facebook's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, made the announcement today posting this statement.
Kenneth Chenault is a successful business executive and was the third African American CEO of a Fortune 500 company.
