Kansas City will receive $1 million to bolster multiple neighborhoods with critically needed repairs |
The Affordable Care Act is about securing affordable, quality and accessible health care as a right, not a privilege, for every American; yet it is also about wellness and prevention, economic security and entrepreneurship, the well-being of working families and the strength of the middle class. In short, this historic law is about a healthier America.
Kansas City – Today, for the 38th time, the House of Representatives will vote to repeal all or part of the Affordable Care Act.
“Again and again we are focusing on something that has no hope of going anywhere,” said U.S. Representative Emanuel Cleaver, II. “Instead of creating jobs, growing the economy, and strengthening the middle class, we are wasting time on a misguided effort to dismantle a program that is helping millions of people across the country.”
